When comparing the website design price, the number of pages alone is not a sufficient measure. A five-page site may have different user groups, multi-language and complex application forms. A larger site may have dozens of content pages that use the same placement. Design coverage should be evaluated along with unique screen and behaviors.

Identify the visitor's decision

Write down what each homepage will make easier: understanding the service, comparing products, asking for offers, or making an appointment. Putting all goals on the same screen first makes the visitor's direction unclear. The menu and order of content should be derived from these goals.

Check if the content is ready

If text, photos, and technical information are to change completely later, the design revision will also grow. It should be initially determined which content to prepare and when to deliver. The initial design with actual content shows problems such as title length and visual ratio early.

Describe mobile behavior as well

Narrowing down the desktop page is not all of the mobile design. Menus, tables, forms, and fixed buttons may require different decisions on the phone. Use of the form when the keyboard is turned on, and the line break of long titles should also be examined.

Make the proposal visible on which side the interface design, software development, content entry and maintenance are on. When confirming the design delivery, check not only the screen visuals but also the components, mobile layouts and interaction notes so that the actual scope difference between the two bids containing the same page count is understood.
