Do not change all settings at once when After Effects export fails. Check the error record, output path, and problematic time interval in order.
First record the current state
Note the error message, the application version, the output format, and the time the process stops. Work on a copy of the project; protect the first file. The record file described in Adobe's render documents is the starting point to investigate why the process is not complete. Don't count the only setting universal solution in an old forum as not every error is caused by the same reason.
Simplify output path
Check that you can write to the destination folder and that there is enough free space. If you are using a network or equalization folder, try a short output in a local, accessible folder for diagnosis. Do not mix the cache area with the final output field. It does not mean that the file is complete; it can be played and verify that it is expected length.
Reproduce the problem in a small range
Test that region as a short output if the process is always at the same point. Check the relevant layers, effects and source images on the copy project individually. Change a single variable in each attempt and save the result. So you know which change is effective when a solution is found. Check the compatibility of the source media and output format with the version used from Adobe documents.
Close by rechecking the delivery
After the output is complete, monitor the head, end, and region with problems. The volume, square rate, duration, and transparency should match the need for delivery. Save the successful settings to the project note; also specify the dependencies used if re-production will be required on another computer. Saving the work file, preview, and broadcast file separately makes subsequent revisions easier.
