Identify the frame needs before using corporate portraits on the website and promotional materials. The shooting brief should describe the area required by the final design.
List locations before shooting
The team page, speaker card, and press file may not want the same frame. Show with drafts on which surface is vertical and which is horizontal. If the caption is to be found next to the photo, the aspect and empty space can be considered accordingly. Trying to produce the space that is not available after the shot is finished reduces the options.
Identify a common approach within the team
Prepare examples for background, light character, and frame length. Not every person is required to give the same pose; but when they appear together, they must be understood to belong to the same series. Leave a re-applicable shooting note for newcomers as well. A very special and difficult to re-establish fiction can make consistency difficult in the future.
Request edits that do not change identity
Significantly changing one's appearance with color balance and attentional detail cleaning are different jobs. Talk openly with the person and manufacturer who are attracted to the expectation of retouching. The corporate portrait should give the visitor a reliable impression of the actual person. Clarify the necessary permissions on the scope of use of the image with the company's supervisor.
Don't limit the file to a single clip
Protect the main high-definition image; also prepare the appropriate size and compression for the web. Check that the face is selected in the small profile icon, the frame remains natural on the large card. Have the name and version information of the person named the file. Provide access to the original file instead of sending the photo compressed by the messaging app alone to the designer.
Protect quality from shooting
A tool that magnifies the photo does not count as reliably returning the actual detail that is not on the record. Check for artificial changes, especially in the face and product details. Setting the frame and publication measures to be used before shooting will reduce excessive cropping later. The face rate in the portrait, color and surface accuracy in the product are important. Evaluate the edited file in actual usage size, not in small preview; store the original file separately.
