Do not prepare social media images based on the pixel size alone. The aspect ratio, cropping, and areas closed by the interface determine the visibility of the message.

Solve the ratio, then select the pixel

Square, vertical, and horizontal surfaces require different compositions. For example in the work file, you can create layouts 1:1, 4:5, 9:16, and 16:9, which are not invariant loading rules for all platforms. Verify the current technical requirement of the layout to be published from the platform's official help page. Do not assume that the organic post and the ad placement bear the same conditions.

Remove critical items from the edge

Profile icon, description, playback button, or other interface elements can turn off part of the image. Set a secure internal space for title, product, and action call. Don't think of this area as a fixed and universal pixel limit; preview by placement. Full screen view with crop in the profile grid also check.

Relocation instead of resizing

Change the layout if fitting the horizontal image into the vertical area makes the text shrink. Take the product to another location, remove the secondary text or move it to explanation. The order of items may change without changing the main message. It is not necessary to maintain the decorative space in the other, which is useful in one format.

Name the submission file with the publication location

Have campaign, settlement and version information in the file name. Do not let the publisher guess which file is prepared for which field. Check the preview created by the platform after installation; the file that appears to be correct locally can be recompressed or cropped differently. Update the measurement manual on the same record instead of reproducing it to a new post each year and note what has changed.
