With Wireframe, the prototype does not do the same job. Wireframe allows quick discussion of content and settlement decisions. The clickable prototype is used to test how the user moves between screens. The visual detail level should be selected based on the question the answer is wanted; it is not necessary to make each screen from start to finish.
Install the layout with actual content
Short sample texts easily fit into each box. The layout can be disrupted when the actual product name, long address, or error message arrives. Use possible lengths in the Wireframe stage. Clarify the task of the title, description, and action button. As the number of things everyone wants to see on a screen increases, the priority becomes more uncertain.
Describe the test task through the result
Saying "press the top right button" to the participant does not test the design. Give it a goal like "Change delivery address" and observe how it progresses. Record the point where help is needed, returns and false expectations. If the prototype has a non-working area, do not interpret it as a real product problem.
Don't just show the successful way
Missing information, cancellation, return, and null result states are part of the flow. For example, the user should be shown how to proceed when the appropriate time is not found in the appointment application. These decisions should not be made by chance during development.
Specify what flows have been tested in delivery, what findings have been modified and which areas have not yet been tested. It does not mean that a prototype application has been completed; it is a work tool that makes certain assumptions visible before development.
Select the accuracy level of the prototype according to the question
To test the understanding of a stream, not every pixel may need to be completed. In contrast, interaction details are important if the error behavior of a form is to be tested. Explain to the participant which parts of the prototype are real and which are representative. Determine the task and observation measure before the test; just do not ask if you like the design.
