Arrange the social media design of your small business with a few repeatable rules. Let the campaign, product and information sharing take on different tasks while appearing to belong to the same brand.

Separate types of sharing

Product announcement, frequently asked question, and customer use example do not have the same information density. Prepare a separate initial layout for each. First, determine what the share expects from the reader: recognizing the product, finding answers to a question, or contacting it. Uploading all the objectives to each post creates confusion in the small space.

Make a small number of fixed decisions

Define roles for title and body writing, uses for colors, a common approach for photos. Protect these decisions instead of locking each post into the same template. For example, the product visual may change but the hierarchy of the price or description block may remain constant. Let the person who has prepared a new design know where to stretch.

Try it with real content

Put the long one next to the short product name, the example that requires comparison next to the single photo. If your drafts only work with ideal content, it doesn't make the day-to-day job easier. Read the text on the phone screen without zooming in. Instead of compressing the detailed description into the image, give it in the sharing text or on the related product page.

Leave a small usage file

Store color and writing rules, visual resources, and sample correct application with ready templates. Mark items that will not be changed. Do not depend on the number of likes alone in regular review; incoming questions, misunderstandings, and transitions to the right page also signal. Correct the message first if a design attracts a lot of attention and creates false expectation.
