"Let it be modern and remarkable" may be the beginning to talk about the direction of the design; but it does not describe the scope of production. When working with the graphic designer, preparing a short brief explaining the target, medium, content and delivery conditions makes both bid comparison and revisions more understandable.

Concrete what to produce

List them as separate formats if poster, social media visual and presentation cover are requested for the same campaign. Specify the size, language, variant, and delivery files. Developing new ideas for each medium is not the same scope as adapting a master design to different dimensions.

Identify the responsible for text and images

The approved text, product photo, logo, and user manual should be collected in one place if available. Whether the missing content is prepared by the designer should be discussed at the bidding stage. Do not confuse a copyright or usage permit with an obscure visual by reference; showing examples does not provide permission to publish that image.

Convert feedback to a single list of decisions

Interversive comments from different people can extend the work. Determine who will merge the feedback and give the final approval. Explain which goal has not been met or what information is missing instead of saying "It hasn't" so that the design decision doesn't proceed with personal predictions.

The Freelance work offer should show the date of delivery, revision scope, and state of the source files. Don't do the final control on the screen alone; evaluate the manufacturer's requirements for the job to be printed, the actual broadcast size for the digital business. Good briefing does not close the creative space; it reduces the possibility of generating solutions to the wrong problem.

What ambiguities does the good brief close?

The target audience should be included in the same document as the problem requested to be solved, the main message, the mandatory information, the submissions, and the approval supervisor. Type in why reference images are selected; simply saying "let it be so" increases the difference in interpretation. Brief does not have to make all creative decisions in advance. Explains what limits the team will develop solutions within.
